Last Saturday’s scheduled game with Waterford FC will be resulted as a 3-0 Sligo Rovers victory following a meeting of the Football Association of Ireland’s Disciplinary Unit this afternoon.

Waterford FC were unable to use their first-team players due to Covid-19 cases and stood down their Under-19 side.

The Blues indicated they were unwilling to play the fixture without their first-team players, something which Sligo Rovers FC completely understand in the circumstances.

The match will conclude as Sligo Rovers 3-0 Waterford following the FAI DCU meeting.

Rovers are now second in the SSE Airtricity League table on 22 points.
