Sligo Rovers were saddened to learn of the death of former club secretary Michael O’Boyle this week

Michael was a dedicated Rovers volunteer and supporter throughout his life

He was secretary of the club from 1975-1979, including our league-winning season in 1977.

We offer our sympathies to his wife Maureen, sons Gerry, Michael, John, Stephen, Declan and Jason and daughter Veronica

As a club we are forever grateful for the volunteers who enrich the community and club.

May Michael rest in peace.
