“But could he do it on a cold rainy Tuesday in Stoke?” – It’s one of the long standing debates asked of Lionel Messi but now it’s time for our own fab four finalists to see if they measure up to the Argentinean. 

Of the 605 brave souls who started out, almost 3 months ago, hoping to be our Last Man Standing only four players remain going into Week 10. It might not matter if it will be cold or raining in Stoke this evening but there will be some focus on Dean Court, Amex Stadium and London Stadium as the home sides carry all the hopes of our remaining players at 8:45pm.

Huddersfield, Crystal Palace and Cardiff City provide the respective opponents for our players hopes this evening. Failure to win for one or more of our players could see their hopes of scoring our top prize of €1,000 dashed on a rainy, cold night on a Premier League pitch somewhere along the south coast of England or London’s East End.

As per the rules circulated at the start of the competition, should all players be eliminated in this round, all four will then be deemed progress to Week 11. The full rules can be seen on the Last Man Standing page.
