Emma Doherty attended a home based Republic of Ireland Senior squad training session in Abbotstown this afternoon as she continues to progress since joining the club back in January.
In her first season at Women’s National League level, The Donegal striker has scored nine goals and has been at the heart of Rovers’ attacks throughout the season.
Doherty has been capped at International level before through the underage system and today met up with other home based players under the watchful eye of Senior Women’s Team manager Vera Pauw.
Doherty will join up with The Rovers’ squad for training tomorrow before making the trip to Athlone on Saturday as the team face Athlone Town at 7pm.
