Lyttle previews Glentoran friendly
Sligo Rovers manager Gerard Lyttle has said Saturday’s mid-season friendly with Glentoran will be useful for keeping his side on schedule after the league fixture with Dundalk was postponed.

Club statement on fixture postponement
The #bitored firstly wish to confirm our match with Dundalk on Sunday has been postponed due to the Lilywhites progressing in Europe.

Club Lotto Jackpot Claimed Three Times In June
When local couple Katie and Regan Wallace had a major success in winning the €14,300 Sligo Rovers jackpot, it brought to almost €19,000 the club has paid out in lotto jackpots in the month of June alone. Sligo Rovers are to honour one of their greatest servants as they host a testimonial for the legendary Raffaele Cretaro on Saturday 28th July with a 6pm kick-off in the Showgrounds.

Dundalk game moved to Sunday
Sligo Rovers v Dundalk scheduled for Saturday, 21st July has been moved to Sunday, 22nd July at The Showgrounds with a kick-off time of 7.00 pm.
In the event of Dundalk progressing to the second qualifying round of the Europa League then the fixture will be postponed until a later date.
Dundalk are 1-0 up from the first leg of their first round match.
U17 Women’s Season Kicks Off Today
The long awaited Continental Tyres Women’s Under 17 National League kicks off today, with the Sligo Rovers women travelling to Dublin to take on Peamount (kick off 6.30pm).
