Cretaro wins it for Rovers in Cork
Sligo Rovers were brilliant 2-1 winners in Turner’s Cross on Friday night as David Cawley and Raffaele Cretaro secured a comeback win.
Karl Sheppard’s early header had the Champions on course for victory but second-half goals from Cawley and Cretaro was enough to see Rovers climb 11 points clear of safety but for the Leesiders, they now trail leaders Dundalk by six points with six games remaining. IRN-BRU Cup draw on Thursday
The draw for the second round of the IRN-BRU Cup will take place on Thursday at 1pm.
Rovers enter into this round, the second stage, along with 31 other teams. We cannot face Bohemians, leaving us with 30 possible opponents. They will be finalised on Tuesday and Wednesday night as the first round concludes.
