Sligo Rovers wish to extend our best wishes to Accrington Stanley ahead of the League 1 season following our friendly last night.

The Bit O’ Red won what was a high-quality game in the circumstances 1-0 thanks to a goal from Romeo Parkes.

The club wish to thank home support of over 600 fans for attending the game. It proved a worthwhile exercise.

There were 20 Accrington fans present who enjoyed the renowned Sligo hospitality. Good luck to John, Jimmy, Seamus and all of Stanley.
