There were six games this past weekend across our Academy with four games taking place on Saturday and two more on Sunday afternoon.

First up, our Under 17 Women’s side drew 2-2 with St. Patrick’s Athletic in Dublin with goals from Lesley-Ann Sweeney and Mairead McIntyre.

At the same time, our Under 17 Men’s side defeated the same opposition at The Sean Fallon Centre thanks to a Niall Kenny brace as well as a goal each from Daire Patton and David Jonathan, with the game ending 4-2.

Our Under 14’s hosted Athlone Town at ATU Sligo and won 2-1 thanks to goals from Jack McGowan and Seamus Maughan.

Our Under 15 side won 2-1 in Athlone Town Stadium against Athlone Town thanks to goals from Aiden Gabbidon and Adam Feeney.

Sunday saw our Under 19 Women’s side suffer a 3-0 loss against Shamrock Rovers at The Sean Fallon Centre while our Under 19 Men’s side won 4-1 in Athlone with goals from Owen Elding (2), Bridel Bosakani and Niall Holohan.
