Women's season kicks off with trip to Peamount

Sligo Rovers' Under 17 women will kick off their season on Saturday, 14th July with a trip to Peamount Utd (kick-off at 6:30pm).

The first home game will be a Connacht derby against Galway WFC on the main pitch in the Showgrounds at 2pm on 21st July.

The Showgrounds will be a hub of activity on the morning of the first home game, as the FIFA Live Your Goals festival rolls into town.

FIFA Live Your Goals is a festival of girls football, which will take place in the showgrounds with a free fun event aimed at 6-14 yr old girls with free gear and goodies as well as some very special guests.

International players Tyler Toland (Republic of Ireland) and Catherine Hyndman (Northern Ireland) will be in attendance.

There will also be an opportunity for participants to meet and greet the Sligo Rovers U17 Squad before their big game. With face painting, ice cream & food available and a real festival vibe why not bring along the entire family for a day out.

Over the course of the 2018 season we'll also entertain Athlone Town AFCShelbourne Ladies Football Club and the Donegal Womens League at our normal base in IT Sligo (IT Sligo Knocknarea Arena) all with the support of our women's main sponsors David McConville Orthodontics.

There is lots of exciting news to come ahead of our Ladies Day on the 21st July.
