Ryan McBride RIP

Everyone at Sligo Rovers would like to express our deepest sympathies to the McBride family and to Derry City, after the tragic passing of Ryan McBride aged 27.

Ryan who was the captain of Derry City, was well known and hugely respected both on and off the pitch.

Today, we paid tribute to Ryan, as members of the first team and coaching staff held a minutes applause before training.

Everyone at Sligo Rovers is thinking of Ryans family and friends at this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
