Decade of Clayton Sponsorship

Sligo Rovers are delighted to announce an extension of our sponsorship agreement with the Clayton Hotel Sligo for 2017. This is the 10th year of the agreement with the hotel which was formerly known as the Clarion Hotel.

The agreement includes use of the award-winning Club Vitae swimming and gym facilities for the Rovers first team squad as part of day-to-day training and preparation by Dave Robertson’s team, as well as use of conference and meeting rooms and some of the other fantastic facilities and services available at Clayton Hotel Sligo.

Sligo Rovers chairman Martin Heraghty said: “This agreement is another valuable asset to the club commercially and for the top-class facilities provided by the Clayton to our first-team squad. We are pleased to continue the relationship for 2017 that will benefit the club and the players, extending the excellent collaboration over a considerable period of time.”

Rovers boss Dave Robertson said: “The services at the Clayton Hotel and in particular the Club Vitae Leisure Centre are very important to us. They are of an extremely high standard and allow us to prepare for each challenge in the best possible fashion.”

Fergal Ryan, General Manager of Clayton Hotel Sligo said: “One of our core values at the Clayton is the support of our local community and with this in mind, and following on from our partnership with Sligo Rovers over the last nine years, we are delighted to extend our sponsorship of the club for a further year and hopefully beyond.”
